Congratulations to Joel Meek, who completed his grading last night becoming the club’s 51st, Black Belt.

In Just over 3 hours, Joel completed 25 minutes continuous sparring against 2-4 opponents at any one time, full action patterns – from White Belt to Green Belt then Brown-Black Belt – rolls and falls on the concrete, 50 continuous push-ups and sit-ups (on top of the 50+ done in our class warm-up), basics, Short-Form 1, Breathing Kata, Long-Form 1 and finally tile breaking.
